Let's see how many Newcastle United players can be correctly guessed by just one part of their face.
Since FUN88 officially became an official shirt sponsor for Newcastle United, the brand has continuously made efforts to offer many fun & engaging activities between players and fans around the world. The creation of another entertainment playground for the Magpies off the field brought huge benefits to the fans.
This minigame of guessing the player based on part of the face is part of entertaining activities organized by FUN88. If you are a Toon Army, you can challenge yourself first, see how many NUFC players you can guess from the facial pictures below!
The rules of this mini-game are as follows:
-Each image displayed on the screen consists of 3 parts of the faces of 3 different players in Newcastle United FC (including head and hair, eyes and nose, mouth and chin).
-Each player participating in the challenge of FUN88 will have to guess which 3 face parts are those players.
-Each player will be shown with 3 facial pictures, with a total of 9 different face parts, corresponding to 1 point for each correct guess.
-The player who guesses the most faces correctly will win the mini-game.
This challenge requires familiarity between the players, as they can easily recognize the faces of their teammates with just a small angle of the face. Those who will take part in the FUN88 challenge include Callum Wilson, Ciaran Clark, Martin Dubravka, and Jamaal Lascelles.
Let's watch the video below and see who will be the winner?
Joining the first challenge is England striker Callum Wilson. “The game is easy” for Wilson as he quickly correctly guessed the names of his eight teammates. However, in the final facial picture, he had confusion between Jamaal Lascelles and Jamal Lewis. So he only got 8 points in his challenge.
The second player to join the challenge was Ciaran Clark. The England defender took longer to guess the names of his teammates, he was hesitant to give his answers. In the last facial images, Clark could not guess the mouth and chin of striker Dwight Gayle. He also finished his challenge with 8 points.
Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka from Slovakia is the third person to take part in the challenge of guessing a teammate's face. He made a mistake right from the second face when he identified Paul Dummett's eyes as Ciaran Clark's. In the remaining attempts, Dubravka has made correct judgments and earned 8 points for himself.
Defender Jamaal Lascelles was the last to join the challenge of FUN88. Although there was a slight hesitation in Emil Krafth's face, Lascelles still gave the right answers. The England defender won all 9 points easily, this is probably because he is the captain of the team.
In the end, Jamaal Lascelles was the winner of the challenge of guessing the Newcastle player organized by FUN88.
21st April 2022
On April 21, the Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace match took place in the framework of round 30 of the English Premier League. At Saint James' Park, Newcastle, with the advantage of home field, raised the squad to press Crystal Palace from the beginning of the match. The efforts of the Magpies quickly paid off when after 32 minutes, Almiron opened the scoring for the home team. The 28-year-old Paraguayan striker made a brave breakthrough before having a classy finish to hit the away team.
After the opening goal, the match was interesting with many opportunities created for both sides. However, neither team scored more goals. With a result of 1-0, Newcastle rose to 11th place on the Premier League table with 40 points after 33 matches and completed the goal of relegation from the top league in England.
The win against Crystal Palace was Newcastle's third consecutive victory. This further shows that the strong contracts in January 2022 have been effective for the team. In the last winter transfer window, Newcastle spent the first time bringing in new players to their squad, since it was officially owned by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund.
In total, they spent £ 71 million in the last winter transfer window, when they recruited four important stars: Bruno Guimarães (Lyon), Chris Wood (Burnley), Kieran Trippier (Atletico Madrid), and Dan Burn (Brighton). According to Transfermarkt, the Newcastle United squad is currently valued at 278 million euros, an increase of 57.5 million euros compared to before. This is also the team that spends the most money in the January 2022 transfer period.
In the early of 2022, Newcastle United showed impressive form. According to statistics, the northeastern English team has now won six consecutive Premier League matches at Saint James's Park, the first time since April 2004 under Bobby Robson. They have won 9 matches from the beginning of 2022 until now, while in 2021 this team only has 8 victories. With the 11th position, relegation is impossible for Newcastle, so the Arab owners certainly spend more money to upgrade the team in the summer of 2022.
Despite spending £25m on Chris Wood to add attack power to the front line earlier this year, it remains one of the areas in need of an upgrade in Newcastle's squad. They are said to have turned their attention to Ivan Toney - the star of Brentford, after being rejected by Darwin Nunez.
If he arrives at St. James' Park, the 26-year-old has the potential to become the new spearhead of attack at Newcastle. Philippe Coutinho is also being targeted by the Arab giants. If Aston Villa does not buy this Brazilian striker permanently after the loan contract with Barca ends, there is a great possibility that Newcastle will enter negotiations.
After acquiring Dan Burn from Brighton earlier this year, Newcastle is targeting two other stars of this team, Yves Bissouma, and Leandro Trossard. In the position of left-back, Bologna's Aaron Hickey has been linked with a move to the Magpies.
At center-back, Newcastle United is keen to get young Sven Botman involved. Efforts to sign the young Dutch midfielder have failed since January, but Newcastle United is said to not give up and resume negotiations in the summer of 2022. If the above contracts are successful, surely Newcastle's squad will be significantly upgraded next season.
